the professional "grown up" artist that is going to make
your child's design into a boutique quality painting.

I live and work in Northern California as a fine art painter.
I began my formal art career as a muralist and designer for kid's rooms
(after I became a mom and left the corporate world behind.)

Generally, I am commissioned to make high end art pieces for commercial and private clients.
My formal work is extensive, and I sign my original works as Lisa F. Barker for Lisa Fernald Barker.
I continue to build and sell contemporary expressionist pieces. A sampling of my original works is available to view at

Why I am also doing creative work for kid's rooms?
Well, I have really creative kids that inspired me when I got an "artist's block" last year... and thus came the idea for My Kids Wall Art!

I am excited to collaborate with children to produce priceless art. Children create beautiful works without limitations and rules.
I am honored to help capture these moments on canvas.
